| So i know I haven't updated in awhile, but things have been pretty crazy here. Some good things, some bad.
I guess I will start with the bad to get it out of the way....
My dad goes for triple bypass heart surgery tomorrow morning, bypass surgery is major, he will be in the hospital for a week after surgery and then will take an additional 6-8 weeks for his ribs to heal because they break all of them and then he will have to do months of rehab to re-strengthen his heart, but when everything is all said and done the doctor says he will feel 20 years younger and that the doctor will gaurantee him another 20-25 years of good life, my dad is 60, so living till 85 being healthy is totally worth it. I am super nervous for him, but I know he is in good hands at the Ottawa University Heart Institute, it is one of the best cardiac institutes in Canada.
Also more bad news, my ex-boyfriends Grandma and grandpa were in a motorcycle accident a week ago, his grandmother passed away from her injuries and his grandpa just got back home from the hospital today. They are both amazing people, so it was pretty tragic news to me when I heard what had happened. Even though me and my ex don't talk anymore and I didn't really get to spend much time with his grandparents, the time I did spend with them was always great. They welcomed me into their home and family like I was one of their grandchildren and for that his grandma will always be remembered in my heart and my sympathies and love go out to his grandpa. RIP <3
Now for some good news....
We are moving in August, i know a lot of people wouldn't think this is good news, but its amazing news to me. I hate the neighborhood we are living in right now, its new development so we have no trees, no nature and its at least and hour walk to get to anything. I feel stranded here constantly. So I am hoping when we do move it is into a house that is close to things and buses so I can actually go out and do things.
Also more good news, things with Lucas and I are great. He is such an amazing friend, one of the best friends I could possibly ask for. its never a dull moment with him and I know he has the utmost respect for me. Its very hard to find friends like him and I am glad I have. We finally went to the War Museum the other day, its a very cool place, the architecture is amazing. Didn't get many pics, but I got a few.
Gas Mask they used in the German war and some native soldiers Soldier and the medical tools they used during the second world war. All they could do was amputate, stitch up small wounds and pull teeth. Kinda scary looking medical instruments.

| Yesterday I hung out with Lucas again, we ended up going to china town and having lunch, we ate at this amazing little Vietnamese restaurant. It had the most amazing tasting Beef Noodle Soup and the lady who served us was an absolute sweetheart, I gave her a tip and she gave me a huge hug. After lunch we walked from China town to bank street and then down around Parliament. We looked at some of the tourist places and wanted to take a tour of Parliament but it was closed for tours when we got down there. After we spent some time downtown we decided to head over to the War Museum to see if it was still open, but it ended up being closed when we got there, so instead we hoped on a bus and headed to St.Laurent mall. When we got there, we got some Julius Orange drinks, sat down, talked, joked around, then looked in a few stores. After shopping around for a bit we decided we would either go see a movie depending on the times, or head over to Perkins for a late dinner. We check the movie times and all the movies didn't start till nearly 10:00, so we decided on Perkins. It was the most amazing late dinner I have ever had. If you have never heard of "Perkins" it is an all day breakfast restaurant and the food is amazing. I got pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream, Lucas got the Amazing 12 (I think that's what its called) which consists of eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns or home fries and your choice of either pancakes or toast. He couldn't eat the whole thing there was so much food. During dinner we talked and tried to figure out when we were going to hang out again and then he got this awesome idea that we should have a sleepover one night. Play video games, stay up, talk. Then we both decided, why not tonight!!! So once we were done dinner, we got on the bus and headed over to his place to get some PJ's for him and some video games. (Btw his dog Kaya is the cutest thing ever). Once he was done, we headed over to my place. We ended up having to take the 30 minute walk to my place because the buses stopped running at 11:00pm. When we got home, we got in our PJ's and played some video games for about an hour, then decided to turn the lights off and try and get some sleep. We talked a little bit and then we both passed out. (Most horrible sleep ever, he snores like a grizzly bear haha) We woke up around 8:00 this morning, then ended up falling back asleep till 10:00. Overall it was a pretty awesome time! Its nice to have a guy friend that I can feel comfortable around and have fun with :)

| Hung out with Lucas again today. We spent the day here at my place, playing video games, talking, watching TV and the HABS game! GO HABS GO! So glad they beat out the PENS! Cry baby Crosby! but anyway, we had a lot of fun. We are always laughing when we are together, to the point where we get sore sides and sore jaws from smiling. I love it. I haven't had this kind of chemistry with someone in a long time. We are getting together again on Friday. Probably going to go downtown again or something. Should be fun, like always!
